Mailfence
Belgium
Belgian encrypted email with built-in digital signatures and a calendar, contacts, and document storage in one package.
European Alternative to:

A Belgian email service run by ContactOffice Group, which has been doing groupware since the late 1990s. Mailfence launched in 2013 with OpenPGP integration built into the webmail and is hosted on company-owned servers in Belgium.
What you get
- IMAP/POP/SMTP mailboxes with custom domain support on paid tiers
- OpenPGP built into the webmail, with key generation and management
- Calendar, contacts, documents and group chat as part of the suite
- Two-factor authentication, plus an option to disable any third-party tracking pixels
Where it sits
Servers in Belgium, subject to Belgian and EU law. Belgium doesn't have a US-style national security letter regime, which is part of what Mailfence emphasises versus US providers. There's a free tier with 500 MB of mail, and paid plans add storage, domains and more aliases.
Honestly
The UI is dated next to Proton or Tuta and the apps story is thinner. The upside is real PGP support without a custom protocol, a long-running European company behind it, and prices that don't climb the way some competitors do. A good pick if you want standards-based encrypted mail rather than a walled garden.
