Cookie Settings

Techropa uses the smallest set of cookies it can get away with. Here is the full list, and how to control them.

Strictly necessary

These keep the site working. They cannot be turned off in our interface; you can still block them in your browser, at the cost of breaking certain pages.

  • Session preferences. Stores your theme and locale choice on this device. First party. Expires after 12 months.
  • Security tokens. Used to protect form submissions (e.g. the newsletter) from cross-site request forgery. First party. Expires when you close the browser.

Analytics & advertising

None. We do not run Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or third-party ad cookies. There is nothing here for you to disable, because we never enabled it.

Embedded content

Articles may occasionally embed third-party content (for example a YouTube video). When that happens, the third party may set its own cookies once you interact with the embed. We'll label such embeds clearly.

How to control cookies

Every modern browser lets you view and delete cookies for an individual site. Look for "Site settings" or "Privacy and security" in your browser's preferences. Clearing cookies for techropa.com only removes things stored on your device — it does not affect anything on our servers.
