European alternatives to AWS

Discover European-built tools you can use instead of AWS.

AWS is Amazon's cloud platform, and a huge share of the internet runs on it. It's powerful. It's also American-owned, which means data stored on it can fall under US law like the CLOUD Act no matter which region you pick. Plenty of European teams now want their compute, billing and contracts under EU jurisdiction instead. The European providers below run their own data centres in the EU, bill in euros, and answer to GDPR rather than a US parent company. Several are also a fair bit cheaper than AWS for compute and bandwidth.
