Exoscale
Switzerland
Swiss cloud infrastructure built for developers, with data centres in Europe and a clean pay-as-you-go model.
European Alternative to:

A Swiss cloud provider headquartered in Lausanne, founded in 2011 and operated by Akenes SA. Exoscale is small by hyperscaler standards but has a focused European footprint and a long-standing ISO 27001 certification, which makes it a common pick for Swiss and EU regulated workloads.
What you get
- Compute instances, including GPU options, with hourly billing
- SKS, their managed Kubernetes service
- DBaaS for Postgres, MySQL, Redis-compatible, OpenSearch and Kafka
- S3-compatible object storage and block volumes
- Private networks, load balancers and IPv6 throughout
Where it runs
Zones in Zurich, Geneva, Vienna, Frankfurt, Munich, Sofia. Everything is hosted inside the EU or Switzerland and operated under European law, which is the whole reason a lot of customers pick Exoscale over a US cloud's "EU region".
Honestly
The product surface is narrower than the big names, and you pay a Swiss-engineering premium versus Hetzner or OVH on raw price. What you get for that is a clean platform, responsive support, and a jurisdiction story that holds up in a procurement review.
