Google Cloud is one of the three big hyperscalers and a capable platform, but it's American-owned, which puts your data within reach of US law wherever you deploy. European teams that need compute, storage and managed databases under EU jurisdiction now have solid home-grown options. The providers below run their own data centres across Europe, bill in euros, and contract under GDPR. Several are noticeably cheaper than Google Cloud for raw compute and egress, since they don't price bandwidth the way the US giants do.
