European alternatives to Edge

Discover European-built tools you can use instead of Edge.

Edge is Microsoft's browser, built on the same Chromium engine as Chrome and bundled with Windows. It works fine, but it's wired into Microsoft's account system and telemetry, and it nudges you toward Bing and other Microsoft services at every turn. The European browsers below use the same web engine, so compatibility isn't an issue. The difference is they block trackers by default and don't exist to funnel you into one company's ecosystem. Importing your Edge bookmarks and passwords takes a couple of clicks.
